Why buy regular television for hundreds of dollars when you can watch TV on your computer?
Internet television is the next new thing in online technology.
Simply put, Internet television offers the consumer a way to watch his or her favorite programs and movies without
clicking a button on the TV remote control.
Let’s talk about the abc’s of Internet TV. With IPTV (Internet protocol television) you are able to watch television on
quite a few devices such as, your computer screen, an IPOD, a laptop, or even with the right connections you can even
transfer movies and shows to your regular television. With today’s modern technology, high speed or cable Internet
connections and well constructed electronics, you can even watch television on your cellular phone.
All you need is a computer, and ISP (Internet Service Provider) and a site which hosts television programs.
You can find a few free ones or you can pay a membership subscription to join one of the many sites catering to
that market. Many of your favorite shows will also allow you to download their programs and watch them.
If you missed an episode of your favorite show, never fear, in some cases you can look it up
and watch it online.
It is amazing the many things we can do with the Internet today. Although Internet television is a relatively new technology, it is catching on so quickly that it may soon replace regular television like the cell phone is replacing home landline telephone.
